Common questions
Associa Arizona serves communities from offices in Scottsdale and Tucson. Coverage includes Greater Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, Fountain Hills, Apache Junction, Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, Sun Lakes, and the West Valley cities of Glendale, Peoria, Sun City, Buckeye, Goodyear, and Surprise, along with Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Vail, Sahuarita, and Corona de Tucson.
Associa Arizona manages single-family and master-planned communities, condominiums, lofts and townhomes, luxury high-rises, mixed-use developments, active adult communities, golf and club communities, municipal utility districts, and investment properties.
Fees are custom to each community and quoted in a written management proposal rather than published as a flat rate. Boards can request a proposal for their own association.
Because each agreement is built around the individual community, the management proposal specifies which services the base fee covers and which are quoted separately. Ask for the breakdown that applies to your association.
The board of directors keeps its governing authority, setting policy, approving budgets and contracts, and making final decisions for the association. Associa Arizona carries out those decisions and handles daily operations, including financial administration and reporting, assessment billing, vendor coordination, homeowner service requests, and compliance follow-up. The exact division is documented in each community's management agreement.
A dedicated transition team works with your assigned community manager, your current management company, and the association to keep the handoff seamless. The team reviews past meeting minutes and policies, reviews vendor contracts and scopes of service, collects homeowner fees and account balances, holds vendor walkthroughs, and runs a board orientation or meet and greet. This applies whether a community is coming from another management company or from self-management.
Associa Arizona has more than 50 team members, and its leadership holds the CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations), AMS (Association Management Specialist), and PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager) designations. The company belongs to the Community Associations Institute, the industry organization for community association professionals, and is active in the Greater Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce.
